The above link contains the example of play for Toot Toot, using the most recent version of the rules. It is meant to give a taste of the play experience without delving into the rulebook and any game materials. Since the silence fell on this itch page, I have slowly been tinkering with the system, clarifying and correcting, restructuring the rules etc.
The new version of Toot Toot uses d6 (single die) combat resolution, without size ratios and with simplified modifiers. Map is more and more likely to be 5 areas by 5 areas, instead of 4 by 4 - and tiles (giving the flexibility of using some terrain rules) instead of the single map sheet. Initiative token becomes an initiative card.
Those updates will be eventually available through here, but I am unable to pledge to more particular deadline that "before the end of the year".
