First of all: Another quality update, namely v0.1.3, was released this week on Thursday! 🥳
Here’s the changelog for it:
Was mostly busy with the little feature updates for v.0.1.3, which will also benefit all future versions.
There is now a system in-game that lets you know when a new version is available, which should help you stay up-to-date 😊
I've wanted to use a tint filter for the night CGs for a long time, since the night versions weren't very consistent.
Plus, with a tint filter, I can easily make any CG or sprite look like it's night, making the process much simpler!
I've also wanted a transition screen for when a new day starts for a while, and it's finally in the game! ✨
I already wrote about the script reworking in the past devlogs, which I have now integrated as part of my workflow to write new content for Orange Smash. This should improve the script quality quite a bit!
Speaking of new content, I was also busy working for the next content update. It’s taking more time than I hoped, but it’s definitely making good progress! Stay tuned 👀
