What’s New
- Looking upward and downward.
- Debug options menu.
- When a gate closes with something in the way, it is now destroyed and returns to its original position (or reloads from the last checkpoint if the object is the Player).
- Checkpoint indicators.
- Quick reload hotkeys (F9 on keyboard, Back button on controller).
- New puzzles.
- The Shade enemy.
- Theo, the chipper King’s Minstrel whose musical and climbing skills come in handy.
Changes
- Audio overhaul, including new music and updated sound effects.
- Vertical buttons now register hits from any angle, not just directly on the front, making them easier to activate.
- Objects (besides the Player) no longer collide with lasso bars, making them less obstructive.
- Player can no longer lasso or pick up objects they are standing on.
- Removed musical obstacles.
Bug Fixes
- Camera, player sprite, and lasso now reset correctly upon death.
- Button presses that are too early when playing a song now register and play the note early.
- Horizontal buttons now correctly count the weight of all stacked objects.
- Load game failures no longer crash the game.
