Hello world!

Today I bring you a simple article going through a bunch of tools used to create this small project. Making games encompasses a wide range of skills and technologies. I thought this could be interesting for any hobbyists, beginners or any other curious people out there.
Without further ado... 


Visual Studio Code: https://code.visualstudio.com/

  • VSCode is an open-source code editor developed by Microsoft that supports a wide range of programming languages and version control integration with Git. With a large ammount of plug-in extensions it was used to do all programming in HTML, javascript and Babylon.js; 

Babylon.js: https://www.babylonjs.com/

  • An open-source 3D engine based on WebGL and JavaScript, designed for creating immersive and interactive 3D applications and games in web browsers. It has an awesome community and lots of documentation to get you started;

Blender: https://www.blender.org/

  • A powerful open-source 3D computer graphics software commonly used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D games, and more. The ammount of features is insane, a tool that includes modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing, and video editing and even a python console;

Affinity Designer: https://affinity.serif.com/

  • Affinity Designer is a vector graphic design software, known for its powerful features and user-friendly interface. Appreciated for its capabilities for creating illustrations, branding, UI designs, and more, offering tools like artboards, extensive pen and shape tools, and advanced typography options; Affinity Designer is incredibly intuitive everything feels always at hand; 

GIMP: https://www.gimp.org/

  • A free and open-source raster graphics editor used for tasks such as photo retouching, image editing, and image composition. I use to complement the set of tools that Affinity Designer has on offer;

Audacity: https://www.audacityteam.org/

  • Audacity is a free and open-source digital audio editing software that enables you to record, edit, and mix audio tracks. It offers a wide range of features, such as effects processing, multi-track editing, and support for various audio file formats. My audio editing skills don't go too far from cutting and fading assets so the may loop or be used as one shots;
