I have always wanted to make a voxel game. There is just something about the ability to interact with literally everything you see and slowly change the world as you play. My first coding experience ever was making mods for minecraft, and I dreamed of making my own game one day. The first game I ever tried to code was supposed to me a voxel game, a very ambitious skywars clone. But I quickly learned just how hard making a game really was, and I ended up working on increasingly smaller projects until I finally completed my first game years later which in no way resembled minecraft, voxels, or skywars. New projects came and went, every now and then I would try a new voxel project and get burnt out. Eventually I just forgot about it and moved on to other things. Recently I saw some old early minecraft footage and got a huge wave of nostalgia. I realized that I now have the skills to make something that I have always wanted to make, a voxel game. I don't know if I will work on it a lot, or if it will even turn into a real game, but that's kind of the beauty of it. Im not making this because I want to make a great game, im making this because I have always dreamed about it.
