SamsaraA downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Hello Hello!
This week, we focused on refinement of current features rather than adding new ones, but worry not; we have a new and polished level for you to explore!
Changes since last week:
- Added gravity rotation sound effect
- Gravity rotation now smoothly transitions instead of snapping
- Improved teleport controls for both mouse and controller
- You now spawn with 3 throwable teleports instead of collecting them from the map
- Added acceleration to flying
- Introduced two skyboxes, Cosmic and Purgatory
- Implemented a HUD that clearly displays the current ability and outlines the abilities for each run
- New level, which is our most polished yet!!
- Various bug fixes
Next week:
- Incorporate music assets for jumps, wall jumps, teleporting, and flying.
- Introduce our pillar assets (Prison, Tower, and Pillar), new soul collectible asset, and throwable lantern to the game
- Level models textures
- Finish working on character and tiles
- Music team shifted focus from ambience to tracks and sfx
We're excited and a bit stressed as we approach the alpha release in just two weeks! We hope you're looking forward to it as much as we are. Stay tuned!
