Patch 1.0.3 is a bunch more bug fixes! This is mostly a follow-up to 1.0.2's many fixes. 1.0.4 will feature more new content, such as the rest of the quests (end of quest 10 - quest 12), the 3 other player character models, and the other two disabled enemies. As well as trying to fix most of the known issues listed here! It will likely be at least 4-5 days before Patch 1.0.4 drops!
The release of this patch also means that the Alpha Demo is now delisted. The content within the demo will be readded to the game within a few updates as remastered versions of the quest, so don't worry too much!
Additions
- Added quest log to Region Quests #1 - #9 (all currently available).
- Region Quests now give exp.
- Gold value now capped at 9,999.
- Rope items scattered around Sharpclaw village are now gatherable.
- Option to view keybinds from escape menu.
Balance
- Many curative items in shops now cheaper.
- Gave base damage number boosts to player abilities to help early game.
- Gunslinger status abilities now deal damage in addition to status application.
- Statuses now affect player slower in overworld.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed some side quests such as "Get Me Outta Here!" being partially repeatable.
- Fixed many items not being usable.
- Bottles are now fillable (no 'Undefined' error).
- Corrected Ariana size bar in combat displaying player size instead of her own.
- Fixed mismatched mage portraits in combat dialogue.
- Fixed minor typo in bandit dialogue.
- Gold count no longer goes off screen in overworld UI.
- Rope in Sharpclaw well no longer blocks access to rest of cave.
- Fixed missing dialogue from Mage "D" variant.
- Ariana can now explode mid-combat.
- Ariana now attacks in combat.
- Removed extra out of bounds copy of Fang in Sharpclaw town hall.
- Fixed only one guard stopping you outside of Sharpclaw if you haven't progressed far enough to unlock entry.
- Corrected Camp Shroud tent exit locations.
- Fixed Fang having improper portrait in party menu.
- Sorcerers can now equip tomes.
- Fixed some abilities not functioning properly.
- Gunslinger Hall is now enterable.
- Aquascella no longer start combat fully inflated.
- Auris Juicery tab no longer tied to Greeha Village tab.
- Berry items no longer apply a second status if player has 'Weaker Berrification' status effect.
- Fixed uncapped mob spawns.
- Fixed overlay crash if entering area outside abandoned manor in certain conditions.
Known Issues
- If player explodes during some quests cutscenes, the scene will continue.
- Enemies show as fully inflated for a brief moment at combat start.
- Statuses not shown in combat UI or overworld UI (only in status menu).
- Follower inflation not synced to cutscenes.
- Rotating seasonal shop dialogue at Calista's stall currently inaccessible.
- Player face icon not updating if afflicted with blueberry status mid-combat.
- Region Quests 11 - 12 currently unavailable (quests end abruptly at manor door).
- Significant frame drops if too many resources are picked at once.
- Some enemies that are capable of speaking don't have dialogue.
- Area exits are hard to identify.
- Menu pops up when changing to floating size while wearing mask for brief second.
- Goblin Mask doesn't show up on Ariana.
- Goblin Mask off centered when blueberry status is applied.
- Enemies can interrupt cutscenes in some maps.
- Lepin missing ears in portraits.
- Occasional clones of characters from past quests in reoccuring areas.
- Clover texture issues.
- Bandits outside the abandoned manor cannot detect you.
- Graphical glitch on quest bubble for R.Q. #10.
- Popping overrides POV sprite toggle in settings.
- Statuses in UI not showing turn duration.
- Some abilities missing SFX.
- Some quest NPCs reset partially on map reload (sprite, dialogue, etc.).
- Extreme load times between areas for some players.
- Swapping classes does not save EXP (only level).
- Fiesty goblins in S.Q. "No, I'm Bigger!" are infinitely lootable for scraps while alive
