More Updates!
Again, many thanks to the tiny community helping me develop this!
Features
- New map with some greenery and powerlines
- First person mode! The core game is now based off first person mode, this is meant to help support more world interaction further down the line
- Drive modes are now added - automatic, realistic automatic, manual, realistic manual -
this can be cycled by pressing [Q] this will likely be set in the game menu before starting

- Upgraded to Unity 6
- Radio now blends white noise with audio from most favourable frequency
- Radio now has data/text modes
- Completely overhauled the objective system
- Some overlay alerts force the user to acknowledge important messages - this also slows down time
- First person and cockpit cameras both work with interactables in a far more consistent way, utilising way more solid base classes
- Using raycasts from screen centre rather than mouse events
- Overlay can now hover over objects in world space
- Removed menu scene
- Gauges have tooltips
- Differentials now have sounds when engaging and disengaging
- Added dust and dirt logic/particles
TODO
- Fix workaround for UnityEvents not working properly for setting button events etc. - I think that 4WD and other buttons may not work as there is a bug that changes what it's set to at runtime
- Add sounds when refuelling - especially when tank is fuel - maybe add physical hose that attaches?
- Add physical key that can twist for starting and stopping the engine
- Add day and night cycle
