Change Log and Bug Report

Good day, Faeologist! If you're reading this, you’ve likely encountered some bugs during your Death & Faeology playthrough. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Please read below for some gameplay tips, and if you encounter any not listed here, feel free to report them in the comments!

CHANGE LOG 1.0.1

• Fast forward, Stop, and Configuration button in the text box are now fully functional.
• Fixed the collider of the Blacklight. This should improve the responsiveness of the dialogue prompt. But still though, DO NOT stack several items on a spot on the desk.

KNOWN BUG 1.0.1

GENERAL

• ▶ Save/Load.

The game can be saved anywhere but will only load on flagged lines or dialogues, usually a few lines before the point where you saved. This is not a bug; we just haven't found a way to load the game on the exact line you saved, like in Ren'py games.

• Music sometimes disappears after you load the game.

ACCESSIBILITY

• Setting to adjust text speed is still non-functional.
• Setting to change the font into OpenDyslexic is still non-functional.

INVESTIGATION

• ▶ Dialogue prompts show incorrectly/don't match the item. 

This usually happens if you take out several items on the desk and stack them. Try not to stack the items and spread them out nicely on the desk. After all, messy desk = messy mind (just kidding, but we'll try to improve this if many of you are bothered by it).

• ▶ Dialogue prompts are still a bit unresponsive sometimes.

Move the tool from the top of the item for a second, then try using it again normally. Alternatively, put either the item or the tool back to the inventory, take it out, and investigate again.

INTERVIEW

• Florence looks like she wants to say something (opens her mouth) whenever I drag an item out of the inventory.
