Welcome!
Hello! We are "Hidden Raven Arts", a group of 3 Industrial Engineering students from the University of Chile who decided to venture this semester into video game development. Our goal is to deliver a fully functional game, applying the knowledge provided by the entire faculty of this course.
This is the official portal for the new game we are developing. The game is inspired by the classic arcade game "Pacman." Our main character is a pumpkin who must venture through a map collecting food for its village. However, this won’t be easy, as it will have to escape from various enemies that will try to prevent it from fulfilling its mission. The map is enchanted, and there are portals that our hero can use to teleport and try to outsmart its enemies.

Main Character
We introduce you to "Pumpkin," our hero who will venture into these mazes in search of completing his mission.
Consumables
Inspired by the classic game, we couldn't leave out the consumables. In this case, our hero will collect delicious food to bring back to his village.
Enemies
As the development team, we have decided that, of course, they will be terrifying.
Innovative Mechanics
1. Teleportation of our hero through portals.
2. Enemy attack state when the character enters their predetermined range.
3. Enemy detection of portals and their ability to teleport through them.
4. Similar to the previous mechanic, but here, the enemies will not only automatically detect the portals, they will also detect whether the hero has used them based on another range.
Next Steps
- Implementation of the portal mechanics.
- Choosing enemy assets and tilesets for the maps.
- Creation of levels using the chosen tilesets.
