Big Update #3
Hey you, did you feel like Rogue Malfunction was too clunky? Too short maybe? Not enough gameplay options?
Well fear not, because i polished a lot of things! Added a lot of things! There is a new level for example.
Anyway here are the details V
FIXED BUGS:
- Fixed interaction prompt staying after you move away.
- Enemy will now play hit sounds if shot with the pistol
- Jumping will now transfer your horizontal momentum in the jump.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Tweaked lighting settings a bit to make the game a little more visually pleasing.
- Added markings to control stations.
- Made the shotgun intro awesome.
- Added damage falloff to the shotgun and (some) explosions.
- Made the time switch from seconds to a formatted time.
- Player will now keep crouching if theres something directly above you.
- Player will now slide off of surfaces meaning you won't get stuck on walls anymore
- If you press escape while a menu is open the menu will now finally close
- Enemies under the effect of damage over time will now drop materials
- Put an epilepsy warning
- You might not like it, but added damage falloff to (most) explosions and the shotgun.
- Made the death screen better.
- Added descriptions to grenades and weapons.
- Adjusted the dOT hitmarker to stack.
MORE CONTENT / GAMEPLAY OPTIONS
- Added the deep frier
- Added a new level.
- Decorated the second level.
- Added a third level (end of warehouse / tutorial)
- Added a new grenade!
- Added text to describe how grenades and guns work. Access it by pressing the “i” icon at the grenades, and just clicking the gun at the guns
- Fixed the impact grenade
- Added a level selection menu (beta)
- Added shadow options
KNOWN BUGS:
- Picking up items in level 2 will create an orb of materials that will hover at a fixed position (can't really describe) Significance: Medium
- Some ragdolls will stay in place and just shake for unknown reasons. Significance: Small
- Shadows in the tutorial level don't really work. Signifnicance: Small
- Checkpoints in general visually break the game. Significance: Medium
