My game is only going to consist of one screen so this job wasn't too difficult, it's mostly just a flat ground and then a background. I used Aseprite to make the background and it was my first time using a digital art program but I think it went pretty well.
This was the original background but I thought the expanding circles in the back would be too much on the eyes at full animation speed so I kept it static.
I'm pretty happy with how it looks, I also really like the chains, I don't have a screenshot of how they originally looked but their mainly dark shading was an accident, a good accident.
