Wow. This year has been a blast. I don't honestly know how I made it through the entirety of this without losing my mind, but here we are ;3
Exodus really pulled through in the end, and all the hard work and countless hours I poured into it have shown me better how game design works, and how achievable it is. Everything feels pulled together after this first level. Despite all of the loose ends that never got resolved, I feel rather content.
In the future I'd like to revisit Exodus, but this time with a different design in mind that is more productive towards creating a fun player experience with its own challenge, while also making elements more tied together for me as the developer.
