Runehaven v0.2.6 - Runic Magic Iteration & Fixes
Hello again! In this update, I have mostly been focusing on improving the runic magic system, implementing procedural music ambience and some patches here and there.
Changes
- Fixed issues related to tooltip.
- Added procedural ambient music.
- Improved slime behavior AI.
- Fixed issue related to weapon sound playback.
- Fixed crossbow sounds not being affected by the SFX volume slider.
- Added back golden scepter item (previously called fire scepter).
- Added wooden wand item.
- Added crystal staff item.
- Updated demo complete menu with some new links.
- Updated post processing.
- Reworked the runic magic system. Instead of pre-casting spells, magic weapons such as wands and staves remembers the spell you used previously. This means that you can more easily use magic in real-time combat. However, this means that you can no longer use runes without magic weapons.
