Update: The project is updated to ver 0.2!
What's new in this version?
● Improvements to the overall UI in certain areas, this is still in progress.
● More menu options have been added and the graphics have been improved. Also added experimental button indicators that appear at the bottom of the screen.
● Script improved for proper functionality.
● Several bug fixes.
● The item received in inventory has been improved and several issues from the previous version have been fixed.
● New addition: Players can now hover the cursor over slot items and see the info for each item on the slot.
● Script improved for proper functionality.
● Some bug fixes.
● TIme advancing system is further improved.
● New addition: The player can now press the TIme Skip button to select and skip to a specific time period.
● Several art assets have been improved.
● Script improved for proper functionality.
● Some bug fixes.
● Now it uses the Hurtbox and Hitbox systems for better and easier damage management.
● Added notification functionality that appears when a specific action/event occurs.
● Lore about the world-building of the project is available. This can be accessed from the pause menu. Only a few are being added at the moment.
● Added actor level, experience, and basic stat system to actors. Few stats are implemented such as basic vitality, strength, and resistance.
● Map transition from inside to outside buildings is now implemented. Only a few buildings are affected at the moment.
● The project is still in early development, so expect technical problems to occur. Also, some of the features provided in this 0.2 release are still experimental and have issues.
● Localization is not set up properly yet. I need to find a better way to localize. Some strings should still appear in the KEY_VALUE form. Also, localization changes from language to language seem to be fine in the engine editor, but a mess in the exported project. I'm still trying to investigate this.
● Expect to get stuck in certain areas of the map because the collision is not yet properly set up and optimized.
