Progress Update # 1 for v0.05

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!

Now that I'm back from break, time to get down to business! With v0.04 out of the door, my focus will be entirely on v0.05 and the prom update from here on out. This was a bit of a shorter week, but without further ado here is what I got done:

• 1st Prom background - Complete
• Hot Meg prom variation of the character - Complete
• First Hot Meg prom scene - In progress (Rough sketch stage)

So with this update, there will be a lot of different outfit variations (kind of what I outlined in my last posts), with Lois, Connie, and Hot Meg and normal Meg all having new outfits. After doing some brainstorming, I will also be adding new outfits for the main character and Brian as well.

Alongside this, I am aiming to have at least two scenes with every character, but I have no doubts that it will eventually become more as I develop the story for this update. Not to mention that there will be 3-4 (?) total backgrounds I have to do (one of which is complete up above).

What does this mean? A ton of art this update! That could be a good or bad thing, as there is going to be a lot of work needed for all the separate scenes that will occur, which means this update will probably have the longest release cycle out of all the updates that have taken place so far. But, as for the good news, I know a lot of you have been waiting for the relationship with Lois to take that big step, and I can say that this update will be the one where that happens! So a bit of bittersweet news at the end of the day. Here is a list of what I need to get done for this update (very high-level and subject to change):

• Connie Scenes - 2 - 3 total scenes (including ad-hoc)
• Lois Scenes - 2 - 3 total scenes (not including ad-hoc)
• Meg Scenes - 2 total scenes (not including ad-hoc)
• 3-4 Backgrounds - 1 of which is already done
• Character model variations

  • Stu (Player Character)

  • Additional surprise characters - This would be 2-3 max

• Voice Acting
  • Since the overwhelming votes on the Poll were for more voice acting, I will be also working on creating the script and doing the voice acting revisions to keep this going. Depending on how long this takes, I might actually be able to get chapters 2 and 3 completely voice acted for Lois by the time the update comes out!

There is a bit of text to this post, just to get my thoughts out moving forward, so I appreciate you reading all the way through! But I'm back into the swing of things, so updates will be coming out regularly from here on out!
