After our creaweak in school we started working on our project again, we did:
Playerfeedback
Some new particles are added to the game, which will increase player feedback by a ton, but not every particle is yet done, but soon!
The castle being hit normally, or by a laser (constant)
Game won particle to celebrate:
castle permanently destroyed
respawn & heal
Renewed mine cannon
Instead of simply dropping a singular mine, exploding on collision and slowing you down after, the new mine cannon requires you to drop two objects that will connect each other by a "tripwire". When you collide with the trip wire you will be electrified, causing
you to slow down. Implementing this was a bit tougher than it sounds.
We didn't want it to be able to drop one part of the trip wire, switch weapons, fire some rounds, switch back and finish setting the trip wire. No, now there is punishment if you start building the trip wire and you switch cannons, the first part will be destroyed causing you to loose your tripwire. Also when one part of the tripwire was destroyed, the whole tripwire would be destroyed.

Most of the environment actually got done during this week. Sadly not all of the meshes are done though. The Mine Cannon, Projectile, one mountain and some trees are still missing and have to be created quickly, before moving on to the polish sprint.
For the environment, a different style was used, so all the gameplay elements read better. Similiar to the backgrounds in cartoons, the environment is more detailed in terms of textures and surface detail can be read. Textures might still need some tweaking, but its going in the right direction!
