The Final Devlog (For the Jam Submission, at least)

HOLY MOLY YA'LL - I think I'm done, with the jam version at least! There's plenty of stuff I had on my list to try adding, but time is up for me - too much to do tomorrow to guarantee I get it built. 

in the morning I'm going to try exporting a smaller build, I don't know what Unreal is smoking

There were a lot more headaches tonight than I anticipated, but I have to say, I'm really excited with everything I've done. I was going to write more, but I'm so tired ya'll, it's past midnight and I can hear my bed calling. I'll write a big post later with thoughts and the like.

This jam was fun! See below for what I can remember adding in the last two days lol.

Last night I added:

• skybox!
• LASER ORB

Today I added:

• energy drink speed boost with funny sound effects
• death noise at restart key (which sounds really weird? Not sure why it comes through like that) and timer end (which sounds normal)
• I WAS VERY TIRED BUT I GOT THE "SPEEDRUN TIMER" WORKING TO DISPLAY YOUR TIME WHEN YOU FINISH! Tearing hair out, but I got there lol. 
• Went and ate some pizza and then made the whole end level bit look a bit cleaner
• I'm so so tired I know I'm forgetting to add things here
• I added a little story intro bit with some typewriter text which took way longer than I thought it should
• I created a practice mode with no timer! 
• some hover text stuff
• a button on the end screen that would go to a new level - if I had any!
