New week, new prerelease! We continue right off where we stopped last week at Judgement of Pride. I will start with the word of warning that the content here is pretty experimental still, as especially the last decision I implemented today interacts with Hermann who is involved in a bunch of events. I tried to script them in a way so that the effects of this week would be easy to integrate but I only did a simple round of testing - since there are many different states one can have with him, definitely not enough x_X
Anyways, Judgement of Pride, I continued working on the individual judgements and tried to push as far as I can - going all the way to the 5th Judgement. It's also the second one where things get serious and you will have to face a series of decisions where there's really no good answer. Of course, corrupted Charlotte will try to sway Aura towards the ones that are definitely not good...
In terms of balance, I added the Lucifer Guardian encounters and after some testing decided that I will probably remove Mark of Justice (which debuffs you upon starting the quest). Instead, enemies will receive a stat boost that will also apply to the enemies in Lucifer's level of Richard's Domain, unless you clear Judgement of Pride. Originally I wanted to turn Mark of Justice into a debuff for them once you clear the trials, but after some testing now I feel like that requires the base enemy stats to be way too high, creating some consistency issues.
I won't be talking more about this quest, since I feel like talking about the individual decisions you can make would just be too much of a spoiler.
Moving on, on the art side, as you may have already seen, I have integrated the Lady Charlotte H-CGs and then promply went on to discuss the next H-CG with our artist: We will next finally get started on the Georgia H-CGs. It's only the first one we started with now, but once that one and the follow-up is done, all Earth pre-ending H-Scenes will be fully illustrated!

Then we have not that much progress in Clockwork Forest but we do have a bit to report here on the side of our assistant developer Trihan who made some progress with improving and adding miniboss fights. The Unicorn already got in last week but wasn't fleshed out yet. It now has a unique skill set with the concept of a laser beam that continously doubles its power throughout the battle. Apparantly also the miniboss guarding the way forward to the western forest half has also been implemented but I didn't have the chance to check that one out yet.
And then finally just some other minor things on my side. I tried to improve the error analytics reporting which had been incorrectly configured up till now, so all crashes should now properly create log entries in our analytics system. I also added some extra meta info so I can hopefully actually interprete the crashes in a meaningful way. I had already deployed this early because I wnated to see how useful it was but that then also deployed some indev stuff which then actually created crashes x_X Well that wasn't intended.
And I think that covers it then for this week. Next week, will still continue on the dungeon crawling side, but we will put a hold on the development of new judgements in Judgement of Pride and instead finally return to the final dungeon where I will be working on Belphegor's level. For the full changelog, see below and then until next time!
