Introduction:

Is this what you expected? And this is only half the intended update! With tons of new features, 3d maps, and more yoyos than ever before! Snailyo has pushed even further from it's roots.

This is going to be the main game I'm working on for the moment, I really like the possibilities and potential of the game. Have I overscoped? Probably. Have I enjoyed making this game and learning about techniques used in programming, game balancing, card game strategies and much more? Definitely. 

I would like to know which combination of cards are the strongest, if you find some cool ones, let me know! 

Updates:

- 3d environment using tilemaps

- Updates to cards designs

- System for special cards and writing to a dictionary

- Lots of random variables for lots of new random yoyos!

- 20+ total yoyos, most with special abilities

- Max cards and power now visible in the deck with BIG red errors.

- New main menu and level select (with multiple levels)

- More readable code with comments

- Changed deck from dictionary to array

- Random yoyos are bought from the shop instead of the player choosing

Bug fixes:

- Bigger deck now prevent cards from leaving the deck

- Updated to 4.3 so all exported variables needed to be reworked

- Extensive playtesting to make sure every card works as intended and synergies

Future plans:

- Multiplayer battles with winner gaining keys

- Save system (for accounts with basic password system)

- The ability to buy snails that have special abilities

- Shop to sell snail and background aesthetic

- Clearer UI and clean level design

- Options menu for sound, text and colourblind

- Card upgrades for more cards (maybe an 'upgrade device' which upgrades one card of choosing)

- More levels with ice, poison and desert biomes (maybe with specific card boosts)

- Bosses (AI with special cards that drop keys)

- another currency system "Keys", which will be used to buy Power yoyos

- EVEN MORE YOYOS!
