Version 0.4.0 patchnotes
Changelog:
- Improved terrain visuals
- Overlayed new texture at a different scale
- Redid forest texture
- Removed "seams" terrain shader artifact
- Added anisotropic filtering
- Tweaked saturation
- Added infantry models
- Improved "kangaroo" and "rainfall" visuals
- New toon shader, to match the infantry
- Improved camera
- The dynamic zoom is much more accentuated when very close to the terrain
- The camera now zooms towards the cursor
- Improved units grounding
- Height map data is accurately interpolated, instead of slowly moving to the closest point like before.
- Improved pathfinding
- Normal (not fast/using the roads) pathfinding is much more reliable. Units go directly to their move point, unless there's a hard obstacle (none on the map at the moment).
- Added new command "Fast attack"
- Like the name implies, it combines the "Attack" and "Fast movement" commands
- Improved roads visuals
- Tweaked material
- Added anisotropic filtering
- Adjusted shadows to make them less blurry
- Adjusted tall grass appearance
- Improved total-war style formation lines
- Units will deploy along the full length of the line instead of staying near its center if it's too large
- Fixed unarmed units not moving when receiving an attack command
- Lowered time to break when fast moving on roads
- Added Vsync toggle in options menu
- Changed debug info font to be consistent with the rest of the game
- Moved terrain and current command hint from the bottom right of the screen to next to the mouse
