September Update! Further Difficulty Adustment & Bugs fixed!
Hey everyone!
Kajun's Lucid Room is my very first solo-developed game. Last week, I had my first experience with receiving some negative reviews on my game—what a ride! sweatgrinning
That's why we're rolling out this quick update patch. Putting emotions aside and focusing on improvements, here's a list of what fixed:
Bug:
- Kajun's Lucid Room now uses a separate save slot from the Shred & Tear Prototype Demo to prevent overwriting.
- Kajun's movement is now slightly faster and more responsive.
- Removed unused key-mapping actions used in S&T game ( like Dash, attack, etc. )
Difficulty Adjustment:
- The Maintenance Mini Game now only uses directional keys.
- Bathing Mini Game scrubbing detection is now more stable across devices, using mouse movement instead of mouse DPI.
- Bathing Mini Game now has more Life Span bonus.
- Adjusted the amount of G-Points and XP-Points earned per mini-game session for a less grindy experience.
Features:
- Added a short introduction tutorial at the beginning of the game for new players.
- Photo Mode now has key mapped to toggle UI visibility & taking photo.
Known Bugs:
- Slow Mouse Cursor upon exit from Mini Games.
