Here I am, again!
While checking the current state of affairs in FF8's mod kingdom, I stumbled across a small adjustment that was still missing from the installer.
The main executable of Final Fantasy 8 (Steam 2013) is a little old. Due to that, it has an innate limitation of 2 GB RAM usage. This causes failures with the textures, due to the application running out of cache and RAM.
I've added the LAA Toggle application, by DrFrugal, which adjusts the .exe to be able to use up to 4 GB of RAM. With this, the only detail left would be to adjust the preferences file in TonBerry to use more cache (I'll leave this up to the users, as it could cause some mischief).
With the LAA, and cache adjustments for TonBerry, I'm pretty sure that the players will be able to run the game for an indefinite amount of hours without experiencing texture crashes (Which is when the original textures "invade" the game). I hope this update helps improve the experience even more.
