Major Combat Update
Major updates have been made to the demo, which includes a complete combat system overhaul based off the input I have been receiving from all across the internet. I want to thank you again for your input and would ask you all to check out the new updates and let me know what else needs to be changed.
Updates
- Combat System Overhaul
- Enemies now have a damage negation system incorporated. While some may be vulnerable to blunt/pierce damage, others may be stronger to it.
- Each weapon has a damage type based off of the attack animation. If the chosen weapon is a spear, then it will have pierce damage, while if it is a hammer then it will have blunt damage.
- Enemy weapons have been converted into the same system, so now if you wear certain types of gear you will either be stronger or weaker to certain damage types.
- Shielding now makes you invincible to normal attacks. This change is temporary and will negate damage based off the chosen shield in the actual game.
- New enemies have been added to the game
- New systems added to all enemies to make them smarter
- Graphic
- New textures and materials have been added to the game.
- Removed "zoom" mechanic. Now the camera is a static camera that culls objects blocking the view.
- Clothes
- More clothes have been added to the game
- New cloth mechanics added to bring clothes to life
