Finally, the fruits of my labour are ready for DD58.


(a)woken alpha 2.0 changelog:


The entire game got a graphical makeover. Most levels and enemies now have PBR materials as textures.

New cockpit. It has a healing animation and a bunch more stuff.

New inventory system expanded, still mostly incomplete.

The items that can be equipped are a repair kit and a small tank.

Significantly reduced walking headbob.

Reload indicators for both weapons.

STOMPING ATTACK! It triggers when you fall beyond a certain speed.

Enemy spawns in the arcade mode now come from a "spawner gate", no more robots falling from the sky.

Enemy bullets now show up as yellow dots on the radar.

New main menu and level select screens. A friend basically spoonfed me the gradient to use as a background.

More resolutions now supported (mostly untested).

New bullet particle effect for the gatling. No more spaghetti!

Decals added on hitting a surface with a rocket or on landing from a height.

Fuel gauge added. Just like pax Hawken...

Reworked the hovering mechanic to be more hawken-ish.

Impact particles on hitting a surface with a bullet added.

Destructible tree scene, because why the fuck not.

Quick turn FINALLY fixed with a proper tween.

Elevator fixed... maybe. This thing was a nightmare.

New sculpted map added, the objective is killing all four enemies.

In this large map, OVERBOOSTING is available, to move long distances in a short time.

Several cutscenes added, before and at the end of most story mode levels.

Generated level added. Right now it's basically a (kinda broken) randomized arcade mode. Don't bother with it, performance is BAD.

You might have to restart multiple times to get a half decent, playable level layout.

Two bossfights added, each with their own map, Arena and Mechamonvo. New character added in Arena.

The Arena boss can use multiple items: an E.M.P. attack, a shield or deploying a mini turret.

Also, added a test room where you can fight both bosses at the same time.

Added art gallery and model viewer in the main menu.

Several songs added and sounds fixed.
