Alpha 5 Update
Update 5
- New Features / Improvements
- Can now play solitaire in-between turns
- Added hot-join to multiplayer
- Added a feature to load the game from the lobby for multiplayer
- Added in a new ship design system
- This allows players to change aspects of the ships like in MOO 1. Not quite as in-depth, but still allows more freedom than the old system that I was using for improving ships
- Added in multiple new Techs related to the new ship design system
- Fixed the ship battle turn system to be more resilient
- Added in new bar graphs in the information section
- These new bar graphs only show information based on the current known empires
- Added a new menu to the build buy menu to show what buildings already exist on a planet
Unimplemented:
- Began to work on a universal turn for online multiplayer, currently can be accessed by hitting hide panel on other players turns
- *diplomacy does not work during this universal turn*
- Other mini games for in-between turns
- Might include the original project that I made which this is forked off. Need to see if I can make that one simple enough to add
- Changing ship design will eventually cost money. But the system for counting the number of ships is not precise enough to activate yet
Due to some contract work I have been doing I haven't had much time to work on this for the last few weeks. Once I am done with the work on Tuesday I will reallocate more time to this game again.
