Abscura devlog since I keep forgetting to write down all the stuff I do lol:
- Fixed a few bugs and made some minor improvements here and there
- Improved cutscene system
- Added system for global variables and conditional events
- Added improvements to the shop system
- Added the ‘talk’ option to shopkeepers (plan on adding sidequests in the future)
- Added a few NPC interactions
- Improved the text/dialogue in battles a bit so it feels less tedious
- Added a few new equipment items
- Added some new skills
- Modified the stats of various enemies
- Added a bunch of new art and tilesets
- Oni can now use the skill ‘Cannibalize’ and just bite a fuckin chunk out of you lol (It inflicts ‘bleed’ and drains some of your health)
- Sealing Fae (placeholder name) can use ‘Breath Steal’ which drains health but doesn’t have any other effects
- The skill ‘After Image’ increases the user’s speed by 25% and lowers the opponent’s accuracy by 25% for 3 turns
- The armor ‘Black Dragon Gi’ adds the skill ‘Dragon Dance’ which increase Speed, Accuracy and Crit damage by 25% for 3 turns
- The ‘Ronin Blade’ and ‘Kalipsi-Ken’ weapons both add the skill ‘Ronin Step’. The user attacks with slightly over double damage, but is left vulnerable afterwards, as their defense and speed are cut by 75% for 3 turns. High risk, high reward.
Probably more stuff I'm forgetting to mention lol
