Update #2: Cutscenes, Cheats and UI oh my!

Hello everyone! 
Were excited to announce a major update to Gods and Shadows! The team has been working hard to add a slew of new features to the game since the previous launch.

To start the game story has been fully integrated and you can play the Life God Quest line from start to end. Another system that has been added is the cheat system. You can access a cheat menu through the dog merchant npc using a secret code that will allow you to add cheats to your game. 

The UI in the game has gotten an upgrade so each area of the game looks better than ever. We have been working on fixing issues related to using the UI as well.  At this point the UI is almost done with some minor quality of life updates on the way.

The Dungeon will now be filled with more items so each room isn't as empty as before. You will also be able to better navigate the dungeon with our upgraded map system. Press and hold 'M' to see a large version of the map to navigate through the area.

Other parts of the game have been elevated, like the side quests, npc dialogue and audio. We are currently finalizing some sprites and assets for the game as well as continuing our quest against bugs!

We are also delaying the steam launch due to some continued issues finalizing details. We will continue to update the game here and show off features as we go.

New Features:

• Cutscenes have been added to the beginning and end of game

• New animations for characters and the final boss have been added
• Quests will now save properly in game
• Cheat menu has been added
• UI assets have been fully added into the game
• Mini map has been upgraded and can now be enlarged by holding 'M'
• Credits have been updated with new information

Bug Fixes:

• Journal should be properly showing information
• Combat damage should be going through when it’s supposed to
• Combatants won’t take damage on misses

Known Bugs:

• Dark God and Start God quests are not guaranteed to be working
