Weekly Log #7

Booyah !

Another good week of progress, with the 4th romance quest done for Estinien (along with all the prior interactions etc.) and I have a fairly good idea of how I want the 5th one to play out so I’m confident his whole storyline will be written by next Friday !

On the art department, things are running smoothly as well. I received the new monsters assets from Elz and some gorgeous sketches from Syllax for the coming steamy scenes. Muchkin also made his version of the prelude theme for the title screen and I can’t wait to have you guys listen to it ~

Now, I also promised some info on this log about the coming poll (which I'll make on the PopotoProductions) so here we go : 

As you probably know, each release will be focused on a new character’s storyline, switching between male and female characters. Obviously, I can’t add anyone anywhere so the choices will mostly depend of what locations are already present or easy to implement.

For example : for 0.3 the poll will give you a choice between Hilda and Kan-E-Senna. So here is how it would play out : 

• Either Hilda wins, and I implement her story, mostly set in Ishgard, while also implementing the remaining Heavensward zones. The player will also be able to play as Machinist.
• Either Kan-E-Senna wins, and I implement her story in Gridania, which means adding all the Blackshroud zones. The player will also be able to play as White Mage.

This way, from one release to another the game will slowly grow to have more and more locations. If Kan-E-Senna wins, we can also imagine having the next female poll (for 0.5) be a choice between Hilda again, and Lyse in Ala Mhigo. And so on and so forth.

Anyway, that’s what I have in mind :D I’ll probably launch the poll in mid-August. Oh and these assets I mentioned in the first part of this log ? Expect to see some sneak peeks in the coming days on the Patreon page !
