I'm currently only a student who's working on the game entirely by myself, including coding, cgs, dialogue, artwork, etc. so updates might be slow. This was also a first real experience coding for me, so I'm very limited in what I'm able to do, but I do hope in the near future I can code more fun features in the game.
The progression of the story for Circus of Stars is much slower than I had anticipated since the original game was only meant to be an hour to an hour and a half long but as I began to write the story, it got a lot more complex which required me to change a bit of the story around.
SPOILER: The story wasn't originally suppose to go as deep into Aamon's story but in the end it was a good choice to go deeper into his backstory as it helps build the theme I wanted to display for the game.
As for current progress.....
I haven't gotten to anything outside of what you've already played,,,, BUT! I do have the storyline all planned out and will say I plan to make 2 more major updates before the game is completed, with one being the next chapter focusing a tiny bit more on Angelica but not too deep as I think the player doesn't have close enough of a relationship to Angelica that much information will be shared to them in game. The second update will be the last chapter I release, hopefully before I graduate and I find the last chapter's storyline to be much fun to write.
Regarding the full plotline, a lot of what I initially planned to put in the game most likely won't be added but hinted at, so if any questions that you have I'll try to answer without spoiling too much.
As for future plans after the games completion, I do hope to make more games and I do wish that everyone will continue to support me until then and beyond!
One of the few things that truly keep me going in developing this game are your comments and support so in truth, If the second chapter flopped like the first one sorta did, I most likely wouldn't have been as excited to write another one or continue...But I am!
