Update v0.B.076 OUT NOW!
v0.B.076, the first major update to Archa’s Early Access, is out now!
Changes made in this version:
- Updated to GameMaker IDE v2024.6.2.162
- Changed the player speed from 7.5 to 6.3 in order to make platforming more accurate.
- Changed the way the game detects a boss level.
- Boss 1 now has its own tileset.
- Changed the end portals for Cherry Shrine Act 1.
- Portals in the lobby now have a counter showing which acts you have completed.
- Added Cherry Shrine Act 2, where the player fights the Red Dragon Boss.
- Added the Anubis Cooldown setting, which adds a cooldown to the Anubis Attack.
- Added 30-Lives Mode in the settings, where dying 30 times deletes your save data.
- Added the “See Below when Crouching” setting, which makes the camera pan down when crouching, allowing the player to see more underneath.
- Added the “Jump Twice to Double Jump” setting, which makes you double jump when pressing jump in the air.
- Added an animation for completing a level that ends with a carrot.
- Added a new item in Cherry Shrine Act 1.
- Added a missing oEyeEnemyStop instance to Cherry Shrine Act 1.
- The robots from Cherry Shrine Act 1 can now damage the player if it touches them.
- Fixed a few tiling issues in Red Pyramids Act 2
- Fixed a crash that could happen in Cherry Shrine Act 1 when oSpikedCirclesCannon exists in the room but oSpikedCircles doesn’t.
- Removed a few enemies from Red Pyramids Act 2.
Experimental Changes:
These changes are only available with Experimental Features turned on.
- Amphibian Atmosphere now has a new background and a few new platforms.
