Progress on Updates

I've realized I haven't actually explained what I've been doing recently on itch.io, so now is the time to remedy that. 

Currently, I'm working on an update for the game! This will add new stories for each of the characters including new characters just for the short stories.  I'll also be adding some more easter eggs as well.

So in short: 

Things that will be added: 

• New extra stories based on the characters you've seen in the story to flesh out their personalities (about 7-10 of them). Some of these may be stories that can only be found in the code. 
• Up to five new characters introduced in side stories.
• More easter eggs for nicknames and names!
• Animated sprites and unique exit screens for extra stories. 
• Something special for certain names.
• Typo corrections and bug fixes.
• How much do you think that HE will remember?
• Milo in PJs.

Things that will not be changed:

• General story as of told now. The story of Perfect Love is complete, and the idea is if this update somehow never comes out (I fall off the face of the earth or I otherwise abandon it) the game will still be satisfying to play and feel like a full game.
• Things such as existing sprites, music and the True Ending will stay the same.
• Any current easter eggs or hidden secrets will remain.
• Milo suffering at the hands of the player.

Currently I have about three of the stories fully coded in, and I'm currently working on the fourth one. All the stories are written out already, but once everything is coded in/drawn, I'll work on the music and the sfx as well as add them to the main screen. The idea is that you will be able to access them once you've completed either Manipulation or Violence's routes, or even completed the game itself. I plan to have the extra accessible even when completing the True Ending, so once you've finished the entire game, you will always have access and view these extra stories if you please.

Unlike the original game, I don't have a deadline on when I will be finished with these extras as I'm simply working on them when I can. When I get closer to completion, I will give a more definite deadline on when I plan to release. Keep in mind that after this update, I won't add anything significant other than bug fixes, translations and possible a couple more easter eggs. For those who want to make translations for the game, please wait until this update is completed. I will then make a post about it and try to implement it into the game. I may also try to see how easy/hard it is to add an android version afterwards, but keep in mind that I need to gauge how difficult it is to actually do, so don't be disappointed if I decide to not go through with it.

I have been updating with devlogs every (or almost) every week on Tumblr with what I've been working on, but for those who have not seen it yet, here are some images I've shared. I have more video previews on Tumblr since I don't think itch.io lets you upload videos without having uploaded on youtube or vimeo.

In addition, come and join the fan discord. I'm not the one running it, but there are a bunch of people who draw lots of fanart and it's a nice place to chat and force me to answer your questions. Keep in mind if you join I will bully you. Playfully. I also tend to show updates or things I'm working on there before I post them on tumblr.
