Saving and loading should be more reliable now.
The plugin that allows Godot to save to the Firebase cloud was recently updated, and since my local version was acting funny, I updated to that version. This required a pretty extensive rewrite of some of the saving and loading logic, and in the process I improved it to be much more reliable and also a touch faster. For the average user, there won't be much of a noticeable change, but I'll be monitoring to see if there are any unexpected hiccups from this process.
