June - July 2024 Progress

Hello Adventurers~🌻

We're very sorry for taking so long for the update. 

Long story short, things happened out of our control. We are a small team so one or two of our staff missing due to health issues (such as hospitalization) can put a hamper in our workflow and quality assurance. 

Upon further investigation, we would need to do more adjustments to the assets to ensure quality control that was missed during the previous checks from multiple people or people who are just not used to art asset creation. Please be rest assured that we are constantly working on this and we want you to have the best product especially after waiting for so long. Once this big hurdle is fixed, we will finally be able to update the generator constantly. We ask for a little bit more of your patience! We thank you again for supporting us in these trying times. 

For transparency, ever since our leader got out of the hospital, we found more issues because of the increased amount of assets added in the generator. Here is our current updates in regards to the development of version 2.0.

✦ Bugs and QoL Work:

• Fixing an issue with animated preview not displaying the zoom level properly for sideview battlers.
• Renaming some features to avoid confusion as seen from the testers.
• Fixing an issue with recoloring not working properly on certain skin tones.
• Fixing an issue where some exported parts have missing shading and/or merged lineart that interferes with recoloring.
• Outdated files sneaking into distribution version and we're currently cleaning up the entire asset folder.

✦ Asset Creation Work:

• Some assets are downright missing and/or corrupted and has to be remade from scratch again. This is especially true to the children parts.
• Currently, we are discussing on how to format some parts that refuse to work properly with certain parts. Hats being the most egregious offender. This was missed during the first pass due to multiple combinations.
