Version 1 of charEdit just released.

charEdit is a browser and windows based ASCII Art editor and viewer. The application allows you to create stunning retro style ASCII art much faster and easier than the traditional methods. It also lets you load and save your art as pure text ( into your clipboard ) and edit it later if needed.

This is the first version of the editor that is made public. The prototype build seeks to test the implementation of many of the software's core ideas such as easy cursor movement, character bucket fills, diagonal cursor movement and more. A browser version of the application is available for quick uses while the windows .exe version ( recommended ) provides an enhanced performance.
