Small Patch #2
Wasgood again, 1.25 people who read this, another update has dropped for hit game "Rogue Malfunction".
This is mainly a bug fix, although i have introduced a spicy new mechanic: Player Upgrades!
This early omicron version of Player Upgrades can be accessed by pressing P, it unfortunately won't save, so i gave you 25 metal to fuck around with the 2 stats you can currently actually equip, and i will keep working on it since i love builds and customization in games.
Anyway, imma hit you with the patch notes now if you care.
FIXED BUGS:
- Melee enemies having infinite range.
- Dash bar being not accurate at all.
- Settings menu working.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Added a border when you get hit.
- Added a tiny bit of camera shake on headshots.
- Added player health upgrades, open with P. (i gave you 25 metal to experiment, working on improving this in the future)
- Started adding sounds for actions (currently added: jump, dash, doors opening)
- Spicy death effect, you should check it out by dying. (ingame)
KNOWN BUGS:
- Options menu acting weird on first play (Fix: hit apply in the settings and music should start playing)
- Combat music sometimes turns off while there are still enemies in the room with you.
- Cursor not visible and still locked on level end screen (Fix: Escape key on your keyboard, to the left of F1)
- Sliding not giving speed boost when first sliding in level (Fix: just slide once so you won't get this effect).
