An updated version of this title is now available.
Version 9.5 includes all the updates and revisions since v9.0
- Athletics = added jump and endurance
- Block = Shield can be sundered; 2H Staff requires Improvised Item Check
- Called Shot = includes Hit a Ranged Target engaged in Melee
- Campaign Play = updated Success gains and Artefacts
- Elf Community = gains Pathfinder
- Encounter Table: added Size Check Rules; updated Forced Entry description
- Far Move = -1D to Action
- Healing Kit = includes Healing Herbs
- Improvised Item = roll 1D. On a 1 the Item Fails (Breaks or Malfunctions)
- Items = added some extra Items that can be purchased, like Spyglass, Mirror, Net
- Large Animals = increase in Stamina
- Launched Weapons = now covers 1H and 2H
- Magic = updated explanation of 1 Action Cost, Magic effects and Casting Spells
- Orc Community = gains Athletics
- Parley = removed negotiate coin advantage as well as Lip Reading and Sign
- Proficiency Checks = removed 3D max; added Item bonus
- Random Target (eg in a Melee group) = assign numbers on a 1D; factor in Size
- Reactions (automatic; no Hero Points gained) = Defend; Resist; avoid Surprise
- Resilience = toughness; Resist poison or disease
- Running the Game = added Randomisers and Large+ Size rules from Rules Addendum
- Sell Item = 1/2 GP Cost if Hero was 1st Owner
- Sneak = added Backstab Bonus terminology, +1D to Hit and +1 DMG next Round
- Spells = Darksee, Light and Speak now last +1D R
- Surprise = 1 free Round before Turn Order rolls (Hero = +1D to Hit eg Attacks from a successful Hide Action, or -1D to Defend eg fails a Detect Reaction against an Ambush or Trap)
- Unarmed = see also ‘ Special Actions’, like Disarm
- Willpower = resolve; Resist mental Attacks from applicable Curses or Spells
