So anyway...
It's crazy how fast time flies, this whole hiatus period passed in a blur for me, writing another devlog after all this time kind of feels surreal, and it's to announce the "end" of this project's lifespan
...Well
Okay, it's not truly the end actually, like I've already mentioned in the comments a month ago, I'm just starting from scratch due to this one no longer being satisfying to me at all, who knows, maybe the new attempt will truly will be better after the experience I've gained these past 4 years
But enough talking about the future, don't want to spoil too much about it, let's talk about the past instead
So, chapter 2 is obviously not complete, at all, but honestly? It would be a shame if all of that would become unplayable lost media, so screw it, as of today, half(ish) of chapter 2 is now playable, with roughly 30 minutes of new content, albeit in a VERY unfinished state
And I mean
Expect a lot of glitches (EVEN IN CHAPTER 1), missing assets, placeholders, Extra tester savepoints, the ghost town that is Shoreside Village, the abrupt end of the game after defeating the first miniboss you come across (No spoilers, but all I gotta say is: Lighthouse.)
To top it all off, you can't even start the chapter right away, you have to defeat Chapter 1's boss again if you already did so
In short, I doubt this is anywhere near being in a playable state, but honestly, maybe it's still better than nothing.
Perhaps I'll even upload a doc containing the rest of the game's script, if there's anyone who would care about how it proceeds and how it ends (It will still omit all the details that will be included in the new game), but for now that's all.
