The Quest Kit 0.2 - A Slightly Bigger Beginning

Some time has gone by, and I have been working on this in the background while finishing up two games. A lot of the code and ideas I have found useful for those games, and some general hints and tips have been gathered in the How To Guide.  On top of that our little .aslx file has evolved and taken more form. There are now a few preset/prefabricated rooms with fully working mechanics for you to explore and/or copy for your own code. You are free to use these presents as they are, or to alter what you see fit to make your game exactly what you want it to be!

Newness:

• Added a Laboratory with item mixers.
• Added a Library with different types of shelves, books and scrolls.
• Added a Bedroom including a bed that will heal you when you lay down on it and a wardrobe where you can store items.
• Added a Bank including a working ATM and Counter. You can withdraw or deposit money in set increments, and check your account.
• Added a Food Court with Three types of working wending machines.
• Added a Bathroom with working shower and flushing toilet.
• Added a Livingroom with a couch you can sit on and a table with an item on it.
• Added a setup script to start your character off with some money on them. Find it in: game - script tab.
• Added a Game.quest file and a Game.aslx file to show how a game looks before and after publishing, and to show up the map.
