Version 1.1
Version 1.1 (not really a balance patch because 1.0 was not balanced)
I didn't test the game as much as I thought. This update mostly fixes things that didn't have much use or fixed things that I didn't test like pausing the game. Should be much better now.
- can now move cursors in level/character select
- really dirty fix, but should work
- can now open options by pressing ESCAPE instead of only clicking
- game now properly pauses and doesn't take in input
- input buffer now works on frames instead of seconds
- time to next round reduced to make game feel faster
- reworked hurt and parry
- hurt and parry animations are now only 1 frame
- amount of time before being able to act is based on number of frames frozen instead of frames frozen plus hurt animation
- did this so not all hurt animations have to be the same amount of frames
- reworked knockback system
- can now change how long a character is in knockback instead of it being dependent on the animation length
- pushback on hit increased
- Fighter:
- Reanimated back normal, crouch, and crouch normal
- back normal: more range (before was slower and had less range than stand normal making it the worst option)
- crouch: little lower and head is more forward
- crouch normal: little lower, head is more forward, and hitbox is farther
- slight animation changes to stand normal (higher punch and faster) and forward normal (head lower and a little faster)
- stand special and hurt now have hurtboxes instead of using previous animation's hurtboxes
- parry success ends 1 frame faster
- a LOT of hurtbox changes on animations (shrank head hurtbox from 2 -> 1.9)
- changed a lot of attack's knockback because of the knockback system change
