Two posts in one day!
In the course of writing Chapter Two there were so many changes to the writing in Chapter One that to me it started to feel like something different than it once was. The story itself is the same, but it's been further refined, tweaked, added to, etc. While I continue to work on the next chapter I thought it might be nice to give some (somewhat) fresh content to showcase how the style of writing has been updated. I've truly leaned into the language of early 1700s writing, and I hope you can really see that influence as I no longer hold back in my rewrite! I hope you will enjoy this little preview as you wait for the next chapter, as you have all so patiently done.
