I have now completed the networking side to the board game. all information is though a custom made packet (which i learnt from the chat tutorial) also passing players info and making sure the max amount of players connected is 4 at all times.
I still believe more information may need to be added to the packet. but for now this is a start. I have added a few checks to make sure the network is connected and players can stay connected and chatting in the game.
I believe we are close to having the project start to look like a game. We are planning to start play testing next week after hand-in's.
having the Chat tutorial made the networking alot simpler to understand which really helped.
I will also start sorting the GDD and TDD documents this week and add them to the next post.
