Hi! Surprise Short Story!
Back around October, a discord I'm part of had a writing prompt event and I decided to try my hand at something that's outside my comfort level, not expecting to actually finish it. Well, I did finish it, and this was the result! I quite like it and have been going back and forth whether or not to actually share it again after I spruced it up. It was up on Medium for a short while, but since I have no intentions of using yet another website to keep track of, I took it down. In any case, sharing it again won out, so here you go!
