Hi,
I have just released Blitz3Dx95-V1.109, an FMOD-less version of Blitz3D that is Windows 95 compatible!
The most recent version of Blitz3D that was compatible with Windows 95 was 1.108b, so I have started versioning this 'x95 fork' of Blitz3D at 1.109. This means version numbers will overlap with 'classic' Blitz3D, but that's OK because they're completely different products that just happen to share the same page at itch.io.
So basically, if your still using Blitz3D to write stuff on or for Windows 95 and don't want to get involved with FMOD licensing issues, this is the version for you!
It uses SoLoud for audio (as does classic Blitz3D) but with the winmm backend. I haven't been able to test it thoroughly yet though, as I'm using PCem and all audio is choppy on that anyway, but it works and will hopefully be OK on a real PC (or a decent emulator/VM setup).
