New Stable Release

COMP/CON
A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

Hello everyone!

The Kickstarter begins tomorrow! Go support LANCER!

Stable has just been updated to COMP/CON v1.2.4, which includes a bunch of fixes and some fun new stuff:

  • NEW FEATURE: PILOT ROSTER and MECH HANGAR
    • A common bit of feedback I got from users was that the mech creation process wasn't particularly intuitive -- so here is the first part of the UI overhaul, accessible from the navigation bar. Pilots and Mechs are now organized in more of a 'card' format in their own, sortable pages. Hopefully this feels and works better. Let me know either way!
    • Back and forward buttons have been added, too. Good for quickly toggling between Pilot and Mech sheets
  • NEW FEATURE: CLONE COMPLICATIONS
    • When duplicating Pilots, you can choose to "flash clone" them, saddling them with a Quirk as described in the LANCER Corebook. This quirk can be edited or removed in the Pilot sheet.
  • The Homebrew importer is now in Stable
  • Added the remaining pieces of Frame artwork
    • Updated the Everest/no_data image as well
  • Fixed several print options (integrated stuff should be printing correctly, now)
  • Fixed a bug where Superheavy weapon bracing was being added but not updating the UI immediately
  • Fixed a few data issues

Updates (outside of bugfixes and data corrections) will slow down in the coming days while ari and I move the whole project over to typescript and do a much-needed refactoring pass. After that (due to popular demand!) work will begin on an "Active Mode", where Pilot and Mech sheets are locked down, but can be used in actual gameplay (for eg. tracking heat and HP, rolling dice, etc)... as well as much, much more.
