Weekly Update #13 - Items!
A lot of work has been put in to this week's changes, bringing a new item star system with an array of new items, a graphics overhaul to battles enemy buffs and a basic hiscore system among other changes. Check them out!
- New Item system - each piece of equipment or item has a star value.
Generally, higher starred items will have better stats and be more
desirable but also harder to get. Luck increases the chance to receive a
higher star item.
- Enemies can now have buffs that provide differing effects. Enemies can only receive a buff on battle start under certain conditions E.G Elite battles and even regular battles depending on how far you are in the dungeon
- A Basic hiscore system has been implemented, this is available to see on the main menu and will be automatically updated with your scores
- Treasure now gives at least a 3 star item
- Reduced difficulty for first 20 floors
- Increased difficulty scaling for higher floors
- Added some new buffs in the upgrade tree for those who have made it past level 20
- Enemies Idle animation is now paused when the mouse is hovered
- Elite battles now give more score
- Fixed longstanding problem that made several items unable to be obtained (This means a lot more items are available on top of the ones added.)
- Several tooltips have been updated
- Fixed a problem in the upgrade tree which, when taking out a skill point from a skill with another skill on the row, it would only renable one skill.
- several wisp effects have been added (clickable cards on the board now have a flying wisp over them rather than an arrow)
- Battle Text Output has temporarily been removed while I work on a new system
- The player now has an animation for being hit in battle
- Changed Shop look slightly
- Fixed a bug causing 10 wisdom to be gained from skill tree instead of 5
