Big updates in Window Wars!
As many of you probably know there's a lot to think about when it comes to handling native windows in games. While Godot allows using native windows for a lot of things (including how Window Wars uses them) there are many caveats. The most important is this constant jittering that you could see, especially when combined with multiplayer mechanics.
I'm not going to go into details as to why that happens. The important thing is now gone! I managed to "fake" the window frames making the game feel much smoother. This also opens the way for incredible things such as smooth window animations, "screen-shake", or even customizable window skins! Windows have also been color-coded to help with the screen clutter. The world is in our hands!
I think a lot of abilities feel much better to play now. Also, some changes were done to casted abilities, and the Push ability, juicing them up and hopefully making them more fair or usable:
