Another meh week.
I progressed but couldn't finish. I've lost a lot of time in reloading and correcting shots. With the unusual activity in my house in the past weeks I guess I had trouble focusing on the posing and apparently, I made a lot of mistakes. Some I've noticed and corrected, and some others are showing now that Pc Chan renders the shots. Wrong hair height, phones hovering over the table, unsimulated clothes... I did them all. And of course, corrections hog a lot of time as loading the files takes forever. This is another reason to upgrade to the new Daz and it's shorter loading times. I'll probably have to accept that there will be differences in the light and upgrade anyway.
I've posed up to shot #164, and brought down the total to 177. So I have a dozen shots left. That means that I should be able to start writing Scene 29 on Tuesday.
Officer Smith makes a comeback in that scene.
And I upgraded his figure. The original was a basic genesis 3 figure and it looked pretty lame compared to the main cast. I upgraded it to a genesis 8 with better skin and he looks less out of place. His previous appearance was on Day 5. The original will disappear when I'll rework the scene he was in.
When I first introduced the original character, I was still working with a 2070 RTX, and I was struggling with Vram. Using a genesis 3 model made sense in that context. But not anymore as I upgraded my gpu to the 3090 RTX.
Steam.
I'm still waiting on the trailer. I hope to get it tomorrow as it was supposed to be the deadline I agreed upon with my contractor.
On a side note, I now have A/C installed I tested it a bit and if it won't do any miracle, I can already see some improvements. I have reasonable hope that it will allow me to render without interruption this summer.
The quick sum up :
