Build 06-05-24-Cucumber - Patch for Demo 5
hi all! i have an updated build. i've made some changes to level 3 and fixed a number of bugs. some things still need some additional testing. here's the highlights:
- replaced hearts buttons with other symbols to make them stand out more visually from walls
- adjusted the enemy and item placements of level 3 to make it easier on normal and hard
- jumping into water now removes active smoke buildup
- fire now can't deal damage if it's reduced to 50% intensity or less, but will now start regenerating faster
- enemies will now despawn old fires to spread new ones in the order they touched them, instead of the order they spawned
- some precaching changes to reduce stutter
- fixed the waterfall splash effect
- fixed a crash related to gameplay timers resolving after a scene changes
- fixed a bug where despawned enemies would respawn while on screen
- fixed waterfall particle effects skipping rendering while on screen if the player was high up enough
- fixed being able to start a level multiple times on the world map (this might also crash in blueberry)
