Patch Notes v0.2.1.0 // Smart Screen Synch & Cherrytime
BUGFIXES
- Frame rate should now properly align to your montor's refresh rate (got accidentally unlocked).
- Bombs now properly explode if the Ship is destroyed, no matter how many Ships you have left.
- Fixed "magnetic" Credits behaving weirdly during Cherry Shift.
CONTENT & MECHANICS
- Catching Cherries and Leveling Up now activates "Cherrytime" for 2.5 seconds. Very useful to clear out dangerous rubble.
- Added a new stat "Show Off", tied to Cherrytime-mechanic. It'll count how often you fail to kill anything, once Cherrytime is active (hit at least one target during Cherrytime, to maintain a 100% rating).
TWEAKS & BALANCING
- Refreshing Laser Shot (Double Cherry) Power Up now increases Multiplier (also triggers on expiration, refreshes Combo Timer).
- Credits no longer scale off number of Ship available. They're now a native value, based on actual scoring value.
- Leveling up now turns all Credit items magnetic, sucking them in.
- Wrap-around timer for bullets now scales with Powered Up-state.
- Slightly toned back invincible timers across the board, to make up for the absolute bonkers utility of Cherrytime. <3
POLISH & QUALITY OF LIFE-IMPROVEMENTS
- Toned down "shatter" effect during "Shift"-introduction.
- Orbiting Bombs are now bigger (just appearance, doesn't affect collision box).
- Traveling Bomb shards size also increased, but still smaller than primary Bomb (collision box remained unchanged).
PERFORMANCE & OPTIMIZATION
- New Bitmap Font (presumable final). I really like this one. <3
